What is Mission Mobile?
Mission Mobile helps customers get phones and top-up contracts. It takes less than 5 minutes to check if a customer qualifies.
Why is Mission Mobile working with Telkom?
If Telkom declines a customer, Mission Mobile gives them a second chance. Mission Mobile uses a different way to check if someone qualifies — even if they have low or no credit score.
Who can apply, and what is needed?
Anyone can apply. The customer must have: 3 months of digital bank statements, A working email address, WhatsApp on their phone. Not needed: Payslips, Credit history, Credit score. Not allowed: People under debt review, No bank account, No income at all.
How long does an application take?
It takes less than 5 minutes to get an offer.
Why are Mission Mobile deals different from Telkom deals?
Mission Mobile doesn't sell Telkom's deals — only the contracts. So prices may be different from Telkom's deal sheet.
What do I get as a sales consultant?
Your manager will explain how this helps your targets. You also get an instant SPIV through E-Centive after a sale. Check your E-Centive dashboard to see what you can earn.

What types of phones or contracts can customers get?
Customers can qualify for both basic and high-end handsets, depending on affordability shown in their bank statements.
How does Mission Mobile check affordability?
We look at income and spending in the customer's bank statements, not their credit score.
What if a customer is declined by Mission Mobile?
If declined, the system will explain why. You can let the customer know and offer other options if available.
Can I track the status of an application?
Yes. Once submitted, the status will be available on your sales platform or you'll get notified.
What Is Needed To Apply?
- An active email address.
- Online access to bank statements or banking.
- South African ID
Bank Statements Are Failing To Upload?
Ensure that the you or the customer uploads digital bank statements. Photocopies will not be accepted and will fail to upload. Please also note that there is a maximum of 5 attempts to upload bank statements before the system cancels the application. Please refer to this PDF document for further information if you are struggling to upload the customer’s bank statements.
Can Someone Apply With A Passport?
Currently, applications are limited to South African citizens with a valid ID. We’re actively working to broaden our eligibility criteria and look forward to assisting all persons in the near future.
When Do Customers Get Their Device? If a customer is approved, you can hand over the device if there is stock available. Alternatively, if no stock is available, you can navigate back and select another device. Should the customer not want another device, you will need to cancel the application and contact Mission Mobile support immediately on dealersupport@missionmobile.co.za or +(27) 11 807 5345
Can Devices Be Delivered?
Currently, devices can only be collected from the store where the customer completed their application. However, stay tuned — home and office delivery, as well as click-and-collect options, will be available soon.
How Top-Up Contracts Work?
The top-up contract works exactly like a regular Telkom top-up contract. We support all standard Telkom top-up contracts.
When Is The Upfront Payment Due?
This payment is done during the customer’s application process before they receive their device.
Does Mission Mobile Offer Insurance?
We currently don’t offer insurance on devices, but we’re in the process of introducing this option.
